A lot has been said and written about the supposed inferiority of the material quality of the tracks on this album when compared with the 2 previous multimillion sellers. It's like listening to noise, and the thing is, if you turn the volume knob down, then you won't be able to hear as much, but then as you turn it up, you're hit with unbearable distorsion. The previous summer, Oasis played to more than 250,000 people over two nights at Knebworth, with an astounding 2. Be Here Now’ stands as a unique album in the Oasis catalogue with its unrepentant excess and supersize swagger.

Vocals on Magic Pie, Girl in the Dirty Shirt and the guitar on It's Getting Better Man are super hot. NG's 2016 Rethink) mix, this track does sound much better than the whole lot comprising of album and studio bonus tracks. I have to say that I’m impressed with this pressing - the sound is great; better than the CD and far better than the reissues of the 1st two albums that I have. Be Here Now’ was produced by Owen Morris and Noel Gallagher and recorded at Abbey Road, Ridge Farm, Air, Master Rock and Orinoco Studios between November 1996 and April 1997.between the original CD, this 2009 reissue, and the 2022 japanese red vinyl pressing cut from the 2016 digital remaster, this 2009 vinyl is easily the best. However, regarding the sound on my modest system, it’s not night and day with the 25th anniversary European pressing.

Be Here Now’ was released on 21 st August 1997 and followed the success of ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory? A lot of questionable decisions were made in the production chain, starting from demo tapes with the drum machine burned in and ending in CDs that were clipped to hell and back, putting Metallica's Death Magnetic to shame. If you can appreciate Steve Reich's material or believe Trout Mask Replica is listenable, you'll learn to enjoy Oasis going mad with compression techniques. Abbey Road, Ridge Farm, Air, Master Rock and Orinoco Studios, England between November 1996 and April 1997. This cut leaves plenty to be desired, but I'm not sure the source material will allow much better tbh.The voice of Liam is clear and great, but the music lacks of clarity ( except on some songs, for instance Don’t go away sounds great). years on, it enjoys legendary status as the sound of a generation-defining band at their absolute peak. This album might have received a lot of flak and at least half of the band's frontmen hate it, but I believe it is exactly what a rock'n'roll record should be - a disastrous, dramatic rock experience that overwhelms you. And I also believe this goes untold, but why are you going to spend hours, weeks and months revisiting an album that will pour millions in the pockets of disaffection figures such as Liam and left over team? full review of all four reissues coming later, but this 'be here now' pressing is a hot mess (and i thought the new 'morning glory' reissue sounded decent).

Know what, i have everything on vinyl by Oasis and i mean every promo, single, 12" album but this is the best thing i have ever heard, bar the columbia 12". On my turntable it sounds nicely separated and rich while still retaining the “enormous” multi-llayered sound. Mi álbum, el deadwax RKIDLP85 de Big Brother tiene un buen pressing, a excepción de Magic Pie que es rasposa y plana, todo lo demás suena con excelentes frecuencias; los graves marcados, las cuerdas y metales bien definidos y la voz de Ian/Noel un escalón arriba de todo.I don’t have any other pressings to compare to this (I bought the silver version but gave it to my daughter after reading the Discogs reviews).

I certainly would not and that's why I understand Noel's statement that he could not be bothered any longer after finishing the first track new mix. However, I know this album extremely well, having played the CD endlessly after release and regularly since.the 2016 digital remaster and everything that came from it is a mess, including the 2022 japanese red vinyl which is also cut too hot and sounds terrible.
