Ridley Scott selected the iconic CIBI Double Old Fashioned Whisky Glass to feature in the original Blade Runner movie, having been struck by its stylish, futuristic and striking design.

Probably the coolest tumbler ever made, the 1974 Arnolfo di Cambio CIBI tumbler, now more commonly known as Blade Runner whisky glasses are in fact a ‘Double Old fashion glass’ by The Arnolfo di Cambio company which was founded in Tuscany, Italy in 1963 and in the course of five decades and three generations has become one of Italy’s leading glass manufacturers. The android hunter Deckard, played by Harrison Ford, sipped his Johnny Walker Black Label whisky in the Old Fashioned glass designed by Cini Boeri for Arnolfo di Cambio – the real Bladerunner Glass. The tumblers were best remembered when Harrison Ford’s Deckard character was seen drinking Johnnie Walker Black Label accompanied by a special edition bottle. The following year the movie Blade Runner, Ridley Scott’s visionary masterpiece, was released in cinemas. But if you still want to invest in an expensive tasting glass, here’s a list of cool products you should think about. The exact ‘CIBI’ glass tumbler design that Deckard (Harrison Ford) is seen drinking whiskey from from in his LA Apartment in the dystopian SciFi Blade Runner (1982) and also in Blade Runner 2049 in the Wallace building when Deckard is brought in to meet Niander Wallace.

Crafted in Tuscany, Italy, Arnolfo di Cambio is one of Italy’s largest glass manufacturers and has been making crystalware since 1963. The glass will also appeal to whisky drinkers everywhere, particularly those with an interest in stylish design and traditional craftsmanship.

The 1920’s Professional Blender’s Glass offers a modern take on old time nosing glass manufactured for whisky professionals. Each glass is mouth blown and hand cut by artisans in Tuscany, to the original specifications and using the original moulds created in 1973.

Yet, these are great when it comes to styling your whiskey cabinet and when you want to serve whiskey stylishly for your guests. The glass was designed by renowned Italian designer Cini Boeri in 1973, and is produced by Arnolfo di Cambio, one of Italy’s most respected glass makers. Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plungle what's left of society into chaos.
