Some said it couldn't be done because it would be too fiddly to work but those naysayers will have to eat some humble pie because not only have BOSS managed to cram an effective stereo looper into a compact pedal, it's also become their best selling pedal of the last couple of years!

Conversely, if you play a looper in front of your amp, then any changes you make to your amp's EQ controls or gain will also affect your loops. Removing the expression pedal helps reduce the footprint of the unit and you can still connect two external expression pedals. The pedal itself was smaller than the Boss, but a slightly increased size is a sacrifice I am more than willing to make for the sake of improved comfort.
