The only blade that can be used with the Cricut Joy is the Cricut Joy Blade, an all-purpose blade included with the machine. You also won't need a cutting mat thanks to the Cricut Joy's compatibility with Cricut Smart Materials, though you may wish to use cutting mats if you're using traditional vinyl. It is great for cutting small projects, making cards and decals and I love that it doubles as a label maker! Just be warned that there are a few expenses (materials such as cutting mats and some designs in Design Space), but if you craft a lot then this will make a worthy investment. But all in all for what it does it’s definitely worth it if your using it for more vinyl or iron on purposes! Once you get your hands on this sleek machine, you’ll no doubt be surprised that you can hold it in the palm of one hand! This duo comes with the machine, but it’s always nice to have a Replacement Blade on hand, just in case.
