A half-man, half-snake hybrid which were semi-divine and coincidentally enough the "elders" mentioned by Skales foretold a prophecy of "The Curse of the Golden Master" in the said episode, and prophecy is connected to a form of divinity, such as Precognition, which is trying to see into the future just like Oracles and Seers. However, seeking to spread chaos, Chen told each side that the other was going to attack, which restarted the war.
