I had a faulty actuator which I have now replaced, however I have lost the original wiring diagram that I made when removing the old unit from the junction box in the airing cupboard. I have removed the existing HSA3 actuator during DIY, but foolishly I’ve lost the 2 fastening screws, so I can’t refit it. normally this is fed from the HW off terminal in the programmer and the satisfied contact on the cylinder stat.

Today I finally got round to replacing the 3-way valve body and put a new (but not tested) actuator head on as the old one had visible signs of water damage. Note the CH and HW will now share the flow of water until one side becomes satisfied (usually HW) when the valve is then supposed to move to CH only. I'm going to double check the two valve heads that I have, to make sure I haven't missed something, but I expect them to both to be faulty.
