It is a collection of his columns and that makes it ideal to read in small batches, but you'll probably finish it in a couple of sessions anyway.It is just an amazing book, so if, like me, you enjoy agricultural and business/ comedy books, it is a must read. As well as motoring, Clarkson has produced programmes and books on subjects such as history and engineering. Although I didn’t have much choice: I was desperate to read on about Clarkson’s Farm and the series has yet to be released at the time.

I've always found Clarkson funny since his Top Gear days (as in sure many do) and this book is no exception however, unless you're actually interested in farming (which i can't say I do, although my grandad had a farm) it's not really for you. It balanced out the writing, humour and serious comments on the state of the farming industry and the government actions. It’s very funny and have some interesting perspectives on eating local meat and environmentalism in the UK. The book isn’t very long and has short chapters but, it’s so entertaining and enjoyable that it was a pleasure to read.
