Description

When arch-villain Petey the Cat tries to blow them both up, the only way they can both be saved is if Greg’s dog head is sewn onto Officer Knight’s body – inadvertently creating a super cop and Petey the Cat’s lawful nemesis.

They have made it to the Cat Jail, where they climb aboard a giant robotic version of Petey and escape out of the town. With Li'l Petey and his remarkable robot 80-HD by his side, Dog Man faces his most formidable foe yet, F. He sprays it on the Robo-Brontosaurus, making it all brown, and takes out a black crayon and draws a face on the broken tail.

It’s a full-colour comic throughout with five to six simple panels per page and split into eight chapters, so kids can feel like they’re reading a lot quickly. Genuinely laugh out loud, it’s exactly the kind of silly humour kids love and are familiar with, while being clever, compassionate, succinct and highly original. Petey and Li'l Petey are still on their escape from town, but LP wants to save Chief, Milly, Sarah, and Zuzu, but Petey says that the only thing they have is an old shrink ray, which only has two shots left, and besides, he can't go out looking like a hero. Meanwhile, Petey, Chief, Milly, Sarah, and Zuzu rush to see the Giant Dog Man with the giant squirrel. One of the Dogmobile's buttons say, "Weird Al Music", a nod to the Weird Al Yankovic, since he created the theme song for the Captain Underpants movie. All of a sudden the fantasy burst, the storm had just been rain, the island was plastic, the spear in Crunky's hand was a golf stick, the Sharks were plastic dolphins and the days had been minutes. Ten minutes later, Sarah Hatoff arrives at the scene where the three animal crooks (megalomaniacs) have been beat. After a strangely familiar origin story of children transported to a distant island, surviving without the civilising influence of society or parents, Petey reveals that his enemies are after him – and he must protect his kitty clone.

Once he gets there, he excitedly jumps on Chief, who is fed up with this antic, while Milly points out that the animals are running away in their Robo-Brontosaurus. So anyways, Petey and Piggy were at the brink of death, when Piggy's glasses fell into the water, and just when they were about to fall, the scout leader saw the ruckus. Dog Man – a policeman with the head of a dog, thanks to innovative surgical procedures – is the greatest cop ever. Unfortunately, the Dogmobile is about to crash into a factory, so when Dog Man steps on the brake too hard, it sends Chief, Milly, Sarah, and Zuzu flying off the glove, about to smash into the factory.Fortunately, the factory happens to be a Giant Marshmallow Factory, and the four friends land to safety on giant marshmallows. Unfortunately, the Dogmobile is about to crash into a factory, so Dog Man steps on the brake too hard, it sends Chief, Milly, Sarah, and Zuzu flying off the glove, about to smash into the factory. Two hours later, Piggy stops the battle and marches over to Petey, claiming that fighting isn't getting them anywhere.
