About this deal

If you have any questions about my experience with the Donner DDP-80 please feel free to contact me! And instead of offering screens, buttons, options and bafflement the DDP-80 cleanly focuses on players and playing with an 88-note weighted Donner-built keyboard at the front and all controls and ports at the back out of sight.

I knew it looked gorgeous in pictures, but in real life I was taken aback by just how slick and beautiful it was.

Not only is it beautiful , it has a rich tone, nicely weighted yet sensitive keys, and sturdily responsive pedals.

I can reach over to the power easily once memorizing where it is, but if you wanted you could plug the piano in to a power bar with a switch and turn it on and off that way. Our holiday gift to ourselves was the Donner-80 Digital piano which arrived promptly and well packed. The pedal set includes all three pedals found with most acoustic pianos — soft, sostenuto, and sustain. With that said, they are all coated in a layer of paint which matches the wood stain of the keyboard itself, and the legs have some extra wood grain style textures in them to keep up the look. Getting used to the plastic keys and the weight of the keys is a bit of a learning curve but if you've never played on a real piano I dont see any problems with it.

The PSR-EW425 and PSR-E473 have 76- and 61-note touch-sensitive keyboards respectively, and offer an impressive and all-encompassing 820 voices apiece. The USB-MIDI connectivity allows you to record and compose your music ideas on music editing software on the PC. The amp and speakers – while adequate – aren't as powerful and full sounding as larger rivals, however, though with a decent pair of headphones you'll skip any worries. I think it’s fair to say that the Donner DDP-80 digital piano is a good choice for beginners and experienced players alike.

This is unlikely to be a ‘set and forget’ knob - particularly if you switch between using the speakers and headphones - and turning it either up or down is fiddly to say the least, particularly if you’ve got the piano up close to a wall. Smartphones or tablets simply use their built-in microphone to “hear” if you’re playing the right notes and can advise you on what you can do to improve.Màu hoàn thiện bằng gỗ đẹp, quá trình xử lý thân thiện với môi trường và không có mùi, cây đàn piano kỹ thuật số giống như một món đồ nội thất đơn giản, bạn có thể lắp ráp nhanh chóng và đặt nó ở bất cứ đâu trong nhà. I’m thinking I’d like to try and rent a Yamaha P-45 or even a P-125 to see how the Donner piano voice holds up. The product was easy to assemble in a few minutes, and the quality of the product feels very sophisticated and good. It’s very appealing and can serve as a decorative asset to match any modern or classic type of furniture. headphone port, 1/4″ (summed mono) line out port, USB to host port, generic 1/4″ sustain pedal input, proprietary triple pedal input ( portable triple pedal unit is included!

We were pleased with the amount of screws dedicated to each leg, ensuring that the DDP-80 will stand very durably on its legs.
