I have to say that for a super easy Negroni and refreshing Negroni, it’s perfect because at the end, Italian and France vermouths are more bitter or have more density. It's made with a whopping 34 botanicals, including rhubarb, iris and olive leaves - there's LAYERS to this baby.

Crafted by the Virgili brothers, Albert and Alex, the brand showcases the traditions of their Catalan homeland. I mean, when you will have the idea and then you start sampling and tasting, it’s hard work of course, although you are always drinking, but it’s a hard work. We made the three vermouths, but then, last year we launched El Bandarra Al Fresco and I’m very proud of this launch. Born on the sunny shores of Barcelona, El Bandarra is as refreshing as beating the queues at La Sagrada Familia (one can dream).El Bandarra Vermut is from Catalunya and made with Macabeo and Xarel·lo grapes from the winery's estates in the Alt Penedès.

Adding an olive – with the saltiness of the olive, amazing how it tastes and when you eat the olive with this vermouth taste, it’s like making love. The folks behind the expression recommend a simple signature serve of Al Fresco and tonic, and don't skip on a good wedge of orange for the garnish.

There’s plenty of opportunity to play around with your vino of choice, from Cava, to English sparkling, to new non-alc options and more. Refreshing and assertively bittersweet, with grapefruit and floral notes, try in an Americano cocktail.

Virgili Bros has a mission to “challenge the uptight nature of the drinks business by creating original and enjoyable concepts” such as its El Bandarra Vermut range. A new vermouth created by two brothers in Barcelona to challenge “the uptight nature of the drinks business” is being launched in the UK.Our white aperitivo is made of white Grenache and Xarel-lo grapes and tastes like finding money in your pocket: unexpected and marvelous at the same time. The drink pairs beautifully with olives, chips, and tapas, making it a favourite choice during the Spanish ritual of "la hora del vermut" (the vermouth hour).

Refined and complex, it’s made using a guarded blend of 30 botanicals, with juniper, rhubarb root and clove vying for attention in the glass. Exceptionally dry, it’ll bring notes of orange peel, cherry, clove, and cinnamon to whatever you’re drinking. Adding cava, a dash of soda water and a garnish of grapefruit, ice and an olive, it will become near impossible to get rid of your party guests. Many bartenders use it for different cocktails, but I would recommend drinking it straight, make it simple. The orange slice is the quintessential topper for an Aperol Spritz, but there are loads of ways to get creative with your garnish. The deep amber hue of the red vermouth, combined with its earthy, herbal notes, offers a delightful sensory experience. El Bandarra Vermut Red is made with Macabeo and Xarel·lo grapes plus more than 50 extracts of herbs, flowers and spices such as cinnamon, ginger, vanilla, liquorice, aniseed, camomile, rosemary, bay leaf, hops and bitter orange – rested in oak barrels before bottling at 15% ABV.
