Description

The unique motor oil can design is inspired by founder Paolo Dalla Mora and his passion for engines, such as the height of motocross in the 1980’s.

It starts on a green, vegetal note that warms to fatty olive at the center, followed by dried lemon peel, savory rosemary, and black pepper at the finish. Craft gin produced in small batches with 100% organic Italian botanicals such as sage, lemon, rose and liquorice roots. It is a bit misaligned with American gin flavor palates, in terms of the bitter, overwhelming herbal flavors. I am even less sure of the reasoning behind some of their decisions regards to packaging and marketing, to be honest…and to some degree, they are of course interrelated. It more closely resembles cans used for turpentine, varnish, paint thinners, and a host of other poisons. Engine is a craft organic gin, produced in small batches with vacuum distillation and using 100% Italian botanicals. A number of people and even hip hop bands and TV shows have commented on that particular bit of symbolism, production of the toy models halted, and a number of the surviving cars have had their flags painted over.

In the right drinks, it works well but it is an odd one that will require some experimentation to make it really shine for you. Engine Gin stands as a modern testament to these ancient practices, skillfully combining its unique vacuum distillation technique with a reverent embrace of its cultural roots, ultimately yielding a remarkable and captivating gin experience. However, it works well in the right applications– if you’re willing to give it some time and space to shine, it can. I find that some of its more difficult qualities are emphasized in cocktails like the gin and tonic and the gin and soda.I wasn’t sure what to make of EnGINe Gin at first, up to and including whether it was indeed potable alcohol and not motor fuel. Produced with an array of botanicals from Italy, including lemon, liquorice, damask rose, and essential oils, the result is a delightfully delicate expression with thankfully no petrol notes to be found. While not a fan of political correctness, I find it a bit questionable to tie a new brand’s image to a Confederate flag. It’s vacuum distilled from a base of grain, and includes organic Italian botanicals such as Ligurian sage, lemon, licorice root, and Damask sage.

Some of the data that are collected include the number of visitors, their source, and the pages they visit anonymously. More an extreme version of say Hendricks or some of the summer limited editions of other brands we see from time to time. When you subscribe to our VIP Club you’ll receive your exclusive surprise bottle in the middle of the month. Its formula is linked with Italian and Piedmont tradition, paying tribute in its composition to those rosolios (sweet liqueurs), cordials and liqueurs made from sage and lemon which in the past were ancient digestive remedies. Once you have subscribed your subscription is active within immediate effect to take advantage of the exclusive offers, discounts and more.Taste: Slightly oily entry with sage citrus and cardamom taste backed by elderflower, rendering it a touch sweet if a bit fiery. Engine is an exceptional organic gin crafted in limited batches through the innovative process of vacuum distillation, using a meticulous selection of 100% Italian botanicals. While a fun and novel concept from a packaging standpoint, the gin is likely to be a touch divisive from a flavor perspective. Engine Gin features licorice, sage, rose and lemon, is vacuum distilled from a base of wheat and is canned at 42% ABV. Its distinctive motor oil-inspired can design pays homage to founder Paolo Dalla Mora's fervent passion for engines, reminiscent of the peak motocross era in the 1980s.
