Highly recommended for a lot of delicious basics as well as some fancier fare to add to your monthly meals. Each of the recipes includes an introductory description, ingredients listed in a bullet point sidebar (US measurements only), and step by step instructions. For those who eat the Standard American Diet, this will be a fun step up without a lot of extra work. For the most part the recipes are kid friendly and the book includes many photographs of the food as well as the author's family. These recipes aren’t the fussiest ones that I have come across, but they aren’t as straightforward as I was expecting.as preparing and serving healthy meals for all the family is something we all aim for - and, it's often a lack of inspiration thats holds us back. The recipes themselves are accessible and the flavors are fairly simple and straightforward to appeal to children's palates. I reviewed all of the receipts in the book and was quite disappointed when I only found about 1 recipe per a section that I wanted to make. Quick and easy food is really what sets this cookbook apart, whether it’s finished and on the table in next-to-no-time or you’re letting the oven do the hard work for you. The author's sister is vegan so there are a few vegan recipes, but the majority rely on lots of animal products.
