Just a couple of years ago there was a major shortage of lighting options for Fujifilm cameras, but as the platform has gone from strength to strength more third party developers have started making accessories for their excellent cameras. I have yet to see a decent photo or video of the tt685 mounted on an X-T2 so I can judge how clumsy it might be due to its size. I don't shoot with flash often, but when I do, it is usually at an event and there is never much light (thus the need for a flash). radio system, the compact Godox TT350 Thinklite TTL Flash is an excellent everyday companion for your camera. For what it's worth, I went for the unwieldy but powerful TT685 - my reasoning being that I actually use flash very rarely (so won't be carrying it very much) but when I *do* want flash, I want to be sure I've got the most flexibility and power available. Not only that, their TTL speedlights can also act as masters for other lights in the system, from the mighty AD600Pro right through to the humble TT350.

No idea how many more; but, I doubt the extra shots per pair of AAs is big enough to offset the weight savings of the Li-Ion battery. Manual mode gives you 1/3 power increments from 1/1 all the way down to 1/128, with the flash duration ranging from 1/350 to 1/20,000 of a second.

Do not use the flash unit in the presence of flammable gases, chemicals and other similar materials. Now press the SLAVE button to choose either A/B/C or M groups and press mode to select TTL or manual mode (or turn this group OFF). Since I’m most interested in using off-camera flashes and HSS with Fuji cameras for my work, I’ve mainly been focussed on getting this to work since receiving the flash. There is a low battery indicator which will allow you to politely get a few more shots before you need to swap out the batteries.

The X-1TF is a flat design and can take a speedlight on the top, and the XproF transmitter has a sloping surface and a large bright LCD screen. I found the output power of the TT350 to be a bit limiting and the radio transmitter range to be quite short. The Godox TT350F is a small, affordable flash that has been designed to work with Fujifilm’s smaller Mirrorless camera bodies, but can it live up to their reputation of producing quality products that are affordable?

Unfortunately the V6 Mk2 tranceiver was less successful with a ‘one unit fits all makes of camera’ hot shoe design. It’s fully compatible with All On Camera TTL controls including Exposure Bias, Second curtain sync, EXIF recording and FlashValue Lock. The XPro-S supports manual, high-speed sync, and TTL control alongside TCM (TTL-Convert-Manual) functionality. No sorry, I have no need of this as the 350 is on camera, I have used it to trigger a 685 via Godox wireless, all good.I have a passion for beautiful photography and I will go to great lengths to create wonderful light. Peak Design's newest Camera Cubes allow you to turn any pack or bag into a camera-carrying accessory. I have both on a smaller camera (not at the same time of course) the x-pro2 and I have no problem with either. In certain circumstance, these materials may be sensitive to the strong light emitting from this flash unit and fire or electromagnetic interference may result. After going through the Master setup procedure a second time, suddenly it ‘shocked’ into the wireless connection and everything worked.
