It’s a look you’ll either love or hate, and Google has paired the design with some bold color choices for those who are bored of smartphones that look like small gray rectangles. It sometimes leaves some digital artifacts, so this won’t be useful for every type of photo you want to take. The Tensor chip has been designed with security in mind, and all the artificial intelligence and machine learning applications run on it - from computational photography to real-time translation.

Its resolution comes in at 3,120 by 1,440 pixels, which equates to a super-crisp 512 pixels per inch. A laser detect autofocus (LDAF) sensor is also worked into the camera bar, along with a spectral and flicker sensor to improve photos under pulsed light sources.

The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro have Fast Charge though, which promises 50 per cent charge in 30 minutes, though the charger is sold separately. A separate Context Hub coprocessor sits on the SoC for things like contextual reminders and the always-on display. The last thing worth mentioning is the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro both have Gorilla Glass Victus protection, while the Pixel 6a is Gorilla Glass 3, which will mean the flagship models will be more resistant to scratches. Don’t let those benchmarking scores put you off; the Google Pixel 6 Pro is still a powerful phone, and the Tensor chipset isn’t a poor choice. Material You uses contextual clues based on your habits and color preferences to choose custom backgrounds and icons.

Sensors on the mobile include Proximity Sensor, Ambient Light Sensor, Accelerometer, Gyrometer, Magnetometer, Magnetometer. The Pixel 6 Pro's combination of new sensors, lenses, software tweaks, and Tensor processor keep Google firmly planted at the top of the smartphone camera game. We’ve yet to test that, and we don’t think you’ll be able to do a great deal with the smartphone in that mode, but it’ll likely come in handy in an emergency.

We’ve yet to see it deliver any significant improvements over phones that use more traditional chipsets, but it’s still easily powerful enough to boot up your favorite apps and games, and that’s what really matters.
