Soon as they hit the market, Holiday Barbie dolls sold out, and Mattel realized it appealed to adult collectors as a collectible. Ruth decided playing with paper dolls wasn’t enough after observing her daughter Barbara’s love for them. I even took a nurse outfit (I used aqua top with white pants), put the nurse front opening in the back (it's covered by her hair), and it becomes a tunic with a "V" opening at the bottom, with white pants and high heels, change out the heels, of course. Holiday Barbie Doll embodies the spirit of the season in a vibrant, red gown inspired by the poinsettia, a symbol of good will and community spirit. Added some heels and purses, necklaces, sunglasses, a pet and carrier (all form the same sort of source, sold in multi-item sets). A lot of collector's did complaint that her face screening is not much different from her play-line version, but I find her to be just like a glammed-up version of the same character, which works well for me, simply exquisite! Her dress has Holly prints and motifs all over, and it couldn’t be more obvious that she’s a festive doll.
