Similar to his previous two books, and in his typical comedic charm style, Peter provides anecdotes from his playing days to shed light on some of the characters he has encountered behind the scenes of some of English football’s biggest clubs. However as Crouch points out it isn’t totally ‘the fault of the player, it’s the people around him taking advantage.
