Gon arrives at the topmost tower; from where he stands and seeing the Chimera Ant King for the first time, he is ready for battle. Pelletier of Protoculture Addicts found the art style in Hunter × Hunter to be much simpler than Togashi's two previous serializations, Level E and YuYu Hakusho, both reviewers appreciated the intricate narrative and characters. The Chimera Ants proceed to wipe most of the population out and spawn hundreds of offspring for next generation before Gon, Killua, and Kite arrive to stop her. Gon, Killua, and Biscuit join an ally formed by Kazsule and his team to prevent them from clearing the game. Gon carried the three while making their escape and holding his breath for more than 5 minutes the party finally got out of the cave and having Ponzu's badge makes the 3 of them having 6 points each.
