Hmm, there are several ways the Hyper 212 have had the heat pipes attached to the bottom plate over the years. The final part of the installation process is pretty straightforward, it’s just placing the cooler over the CPU and start tightening up. The aluminum top cover and nickel plated jet black fins, give the Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition a premium aesthetic appeal.

Both coolers support nearly every current Intel and AMD desktop processor socket except for Threadripper and offer a two-year warranty. we were seeing that 360mm AIOs struggle to keep core temperatures in check at lower fan speeds, providing insight that the enthusiast-grade i9’s need excellent cooling if the goal is overclocking. In terms of performance the 212 is a great cooler and has definitely stood the test of time since it's release of the Hyper 212 Plus 10 years ago! The aesthetics of the Hyper 212 EVO aren't really too important, it's a very basic looking cooler without any fancy covers or even fancier RGB fans, it's just a simple air cooler with aluminium fins, copper heatpipes and a fan. Please include what you were doing when this page came up and the Cloudflare Ray ID found at the bottom of this page. Believe it or not, it actually costs about the same amount as the original 212 Evo if you can find it on sale.That means you're throttling during most compiling, encoding, decompression and some gaming scenarios. This allows for all results across all coolers tested on the platform to be viable as side-by-side examination for direct compare/contrast.

Our Flir One Pro thermal imaging camera shows some noticeable differences in heat soak throughout the cooling tower itself between 50% and 100%, which is to be expected.This little bracket is going to want to shift around a lot – and I mean a lot – so you have to keep everything in place as you go around and tighten up each one individually very, very slowly.
