Another great read from this series - there are always multiple strands to the story that all tie together at the end. It has all the usual characters Lyndsay Boxer, Cindy, Claire and Yuki who all make up the Women's Murder Club and all Lyndsay's colleagues and family and great to see the characters development. Here is a quick description and cover image of book 22 Seconds written by James Patterson which was published in 2022-5-2. The plot has a bit of everything, shootouts, a cunning plot, double crosses, tension and even a tug on the heartstrings. They have serious professional skills, often outrunning, outthinking, and outworking their male counterparts.It’s a riveting read, that had me eager to see where the plot was going, even if it meant staying up all night to do it. Both Lindsay Boxer and her husband Joe Molinari are involved with the task force but it becomes clear that they are also targets of those against the new law. A fast moving story that is well written and keeps your attention from the beginning to the very end.
