I really like this book for bringing up topics you don't usually see in children's book, for example: signs of anxiety and imposter syndrome etc.En esta primera entrega Kitty conocerá a su pequeña manada empezando por Fígaro su nuevo amigo con el que correrá muchas aventuras. It is definitely a good transition to a novel type book, as up to now, she has only wanted to read graphic novels like DogMan or Unicorn/Owl Diaries and was intimidated when I have tried to get her to read something with a full page of text. My three year old actually sat and listened to me read this straight through, the longest book he's managed thus far, and stayed engaged even on the pages with no pictures! But being a superhero involves going on daring adventures at night, and Kitty doesn’t know if she’ll ever be brave enough for that!

Here, Kitty will discover that being a superhero is about more than using her special abilities – she must learn to be courageous too, scaling the city clock tower to rescue a very frightened kitten.Diese ist aber schon unterwegs, weswegen Kitty ihren Mut zusammennimmt und Turnschuhe und Katzenohren anzieht, um der Katze zu helfen. At the end, she tells her parents about the adventure and they just accept this as a matter of course and say how great it is she did what she did. It was a lovely story, filled with cute cats and sweet feelings, as Kitty learns to trust herself through her adventure.
