It’s light, spicy and ever-so slightly sweet on the nose with a vanilla-like creaminess that’s reminiscent of a good cream soda. You know, we all kind of love mojitos, but it's that whole process, you can't really be arsed to do it at home.

Again anything, even stuff for your Rums, like your Appleton's, their Signature Blends, your Mount Gays those sort of style of Rums. Affiliate links don’t offer you a discount unfortunately, but do help to support my channel by paying me a very small teeny commission. There’s fudge too, and traces of nutmeg, or maybe that’s cinnamon, whatever, it works (this is what happens when I close my eyes and allow my mind to drift to my Caribbean roots!I'm gonna get a few more bottles and start using this with the Spiced Rum, because I don't use this in the tasting as I do for the Spiced Drums. But there's quite a few mixers on the market, again that you may not have heard of, or you may not have thought work well with Rum and Spiced Rum, so I'm just going to quickly whizz through these. It's amazing, as I say I drink it quite a lot just with spiced rum, crushed ice and a little bit of lime, just to balance it out. But these five are my kind of new have a look at, go and try, play about with cocktails, because I think they're going to be amazing. If you like amazing, real big rich Cola flavours, lovely sort of subtle hint of spice in there as well.

It's the Smoky Ginger Ale, but the one I want to focus on, it's the Spiced Orange, because the flavour profile of that goes amazing with a Rum and Spiced Rum. So, they, I think, are going to be huge for Rum going through the tail end of 2019, 2020, all the way through. Though traditionally made with limes, a caipirinha can also be made with pineapple or passion fruit for that characteristic sweet and sharp flavour. But if you like drinks like Mai Tai’s and things like that, you can kind of lengthen it out with that, but just try it, try it with just rum, Muscovado, maybe a wedge of lime or something like that, absolutely cracking. I'm not a huge grapefruit and Rum fan, hence I don't go overboard on Ting, but for me this has just got that slight little edge of flavour and I really like that cash and carry's, most supermarkets, they'll all have that. Shake with ice until you feel the metal turn cold, pour into a tall hurricane glass and garnish to your heart's content. This simple highball has a touch of citrus to lift the 'dark' (rum) and 'stormy' (ginger ale) and is beautifully refreshing. Kind of big, obviously it's just the sort of a pineapple fizzy, I’ve had an equivalent pineapple Fanta.

Right, now I did mention I had a lot more than the five they are the five that are relatively unheard of and I think they've got a big part to play going forward in 2020, in the whole sort of rum thing. I think, you know if more wholesalers took this on, I think this would be a big deal in just simple serves. Become a master muddler and learn how to make the perfect mojito with tips and tricks from bartenders. They've got the taste and the sweetness of the juice, but in the fizz, but there is slightly less sugar in there and amazing. The vanilla’s there in the taste too, along with some cinnamon, ginger and something that reminds me of a rich sherry. An aromatic twist on the French 75, it uses rum, champagne and a dash of spiced sugar syrup for a deliciously festive flavour.

The next one I want to showcase; I’ve been banging on about this for the best part of two years now and it's still unheard of. Once you've mastered the basic cocktail, try our three favourite flavour twists – mint, tequila or orange. For some reason Dead Man's Fingers with that, the sweetness of the Dead Man's Fingers and the flavour combos going on. Muddle your sugar, lime and mint leaves, then add the crushed ice, pineapple juice and cachaça liqueur, or light white rum.

People are becoming much more interested in Golden and Spiced rums and Lamb’s Spiced Rum aims to bring new and younger consumers to rum by providing something which looks great and tastes fantastic. You probably need a little bit of lime, a wedge of lime just to kind of balance it a little bit, but just amazing. It’s well balanced, goes amazingly with spiced rums and in cocktails, but listen to this so we've got all the random stuff and then we've got Pear Juice Concentrate, Juniper Berry, Kaffir Lime Leaves and Lemongrass. It goes down smoothly though, which is the main thing and tastes equally good over ice or given length and an extra hit of spice in the suggested serve with ginger ale. I really like the smoky and the spicy, but there's another Cola on the market that I absolutely love.
