NOTE: Get rid of the pvc inner sleeves and give them your own antistatic sleeves, cuz PVC sleeves will literally ruin the records over time. The 94 Remaster - Sounds much more natural, still plenty of kick IMO and I can't say I ever thought that the remastered levels were too low, in fact they seem pushed to distortion.

It also shares most tracks with The Best of Led Zeppelin (with " Ramble On", " Heartbreaker", "Over the Hills and Far Away", and " D'yer Mak'er" instead of " What Is and What Should Never Be", "The Battle of Evermore", and " Ten Years Gone"). All image and audio content is used by permission of the copyright holders or their agents, and/or according to fair dealing as per the UK Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. Mothership-- a collection of 24 of Led Zeppelin's "greatest hits," remastered and selected by the band's three remaining members (Page, as well as Robert Plant and John Paul Jones)-- might be conceptually flawed, but it's hard to argue against songs as indisputably great as these. The set is smartly packaged in outer box with embossed artwork and a large booklet with David Fricke notes. It might be unfair because of inner groove distortion so I tried Good times bad times and Baby Im gonna leave you and I still prefer my 70s issues. Back at Abbey Road, listening with Mew to the various versions of Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones and Bonham, one thing becomes apparent. and SACD, which boast twice the frequency range of CD, they've gone back to the original multitrack tapes, remixing rather than remastering.

So this, along with HTWWW and BBC Sessions is a nice grouping of live/compilation albums highlighting some of their best stuff. Arguably the most influential and innovative rock band ever, Led Zeppelin has sold over 200 million records worldwide. Otherwise save your money for some NM 70s issues or look at saving towards the Classic Records from 2000 or 2007 by Bernie Grundman. They continue to inspire successive generations with their passionate, groundbreaking, genre-transcendent, mystic, heavy and blues-infused rock ‘n roll.
