But its sea of black bricks and an overuse of stickers mean the building experience is slightly disappointing. Three new additions to the Helmet Collection have been officially revealed, including 75343 Dark Trooper Helmet. Others may prefer to build the sleek LEGO Star Wars reimagining of the Mandalorian’s iconic helmet, which uses metallic LEGO elements to recreate the shine of beskar. We intend to publish reviews of these three models next week, along with information from a recent designer roundtable regarding the range.

Of all places, Dark Troopers first showed up in the Star Wars universe in a 1995 video game: Star Wars: Dark Forces. I appreciate such continued variety and the designer has captured wonderful detail, considering the exceptional complexity of the onscreen Dark Troopers. That difference arguably enhances this model, since third-generation Dark Trooper heads are not required to accommodate a human in-universe.Whether you prefer to be on team light side or dark side, fans can get excited about the LEGO Group introducing three new character-inspired designs to the Star Wars helmet collection. The face is comparatively reliant upon stickers though, integrating five across the ventilation system alone. The build is highly entertaining, with enough unique techniques that even seasoned helmet builders will be surprised. Dark Trooper Helmet therefore complements earlier products and achieves splendid accuracy, although these intimidating combat droids lack the recognition of previous Helmet Collection subjects.

Build and display hero Luke Skywalker’s iconic pilot headgear, pay homage to the legendary bounty hunter, Din Djarin, from The Mandalorian or tap into your Imperial side with the Dark Trooper Helmet building set. While the Dark Trooper may not be as instantly recognisable to casual fans as some of the more well-known characters from a galaxy far, far away, 75343 Dark Trooper Helmet still has enough to offer to make it a worthy set to add to a collection. I had no idea Dark Troopers were a thing but my Star Wars interests are mostly limited to the starfighters and podracers.Instructions are included to assemble the front and back acrylic panels with the sides, using 8 screws provided. Or if space isn’t an issue for you, how about this giant Ultimate Collectors Series Republic Gunship?

I don't think the top is supposed to come down, as was discussed the other day, the whole build is at an angle. Mandalorian is a boring grey version of Boba Fett and the dark trooper, as others have said, just looks small and incomplete compared to the others. They have been specially designed for the LEGO Helmets collection and are stackable so you can show them all off in style! Having said all that I'm glad Lego make these sorts of display pieces because, although these specific ones don't appeal to me, they obviously makes other people happy. A first-person shooter released on PC and PlayStation One, it told the story of a secret Galactic Empire project to create an army of powerful battle droids – the Dark Troopers. The bulk of the upper Dark Trooper is all neck armor and shoulder pads, which wouldn't be appropriate in this series. As of today, 75274 TIE Fighter Pilot is the most valuable Helmet Collection set with an estimated new/factory sealed value of 242 €.

But a few annoyances with the building process stop Lego Star Wars Dark Trooper Helmet being one of the best Lego Star Wars helmets around. It also offers two ways to display the trooper: either with its head resting back, or pushed forward. The Dark Trooper is one of two characters from The Mandalorian to be immortalised as a LEGO Star Wars Helmet in this new wave, and with a piece count of 693 it’s the third-largest in the collection behind 75304 Darth Vader Helmet and 75274 Tie Fighter Pilot Helmet. These are the latest additions to the semi-recent line of display-oriented sets that also includes Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Batman, and Venom, among others.Made up of 693 pieces, the Lego Star Wars Dark Trooper Helmet is the perfect project to complete in one sitting. Evil red eyes, constructed using translucent red LEGO elements, and the slight forward tilt of the helmet on its brick-built stand deliver an authentic menacing look. Builders can awaken their creative forces and channel their inner Jedi-like focus with the highly detailed LEGO Star Wars Luke Skywalker helmet, which features a brick-built microphone, translucent orange visor elements and nameplate.
