Description

Jamie Smart's characters Space Raoul, My Own Genie, Count Von Poo and Fish-Head Steve have all found homes in the pages of The Sunday Times, The Dandy, Toxic comic and The DFC respectively. He hopes that one day Looshkin will die so he will be able to live his life reading books and slowly becoming an alcoholic. Yma, mae Looshkin yn drysu rhai gofodwyr, yn dychryn estroniaid ac yn rhoi antur ei fywyd i gorrach gardd. He is a bipedal creature with opposable thumbs that make him able to pick up objects, much to the displeasure of others. Smart would later revive the characters of Bear and Looshkin for the children's comic The Phoenix, with Looshkin as the titular character.

Looshkin has also been known to have a very vivid imagination, but all of the things he says or does come from his suspected dementia. Looshkin often plays cruel, sadistic, and nonsensical pranks on Bear, and it is not uncommon for faeces and dismemberment to come into play.First published in the brilliant Phoenix Comic, Jamie Smart’s stories of Looshkin aka ‘the maddest cat in the world’ are now gathered together in a bumper collection of stories, all full colour comic strips, all outrageously funny. Life is never going to be boring while Looshkin is around, but one thing is for sure - it will be very, very funny! Make sure you have these on the shelf next to Jamie Smart’s equally fabulous Bunny Vs Monkey seriestoo. This bright, super-fun graphic novel stars Captain Spaceington and his wacky crew as they travel the universe in their spaceship, the Star Cat. One of Looshkin's absolute favorite activities is playing with animal carcasses, especially if Bear is around to stuff in them.

Flashbacks in later Bear comics show that Karl had a difficult childhood and may have been responsible for the death of his uncle. Bear is known to date human women, much to Karl's surprise, and he spends a good deal of his time fantasizing about being a ladies' man or a gentleman in a Jane Austen novel. He’s passionate about helping individuals and businesses to deepen their understanding of CLARITY® and to create the results that matter to them. It follows the adventures of a small stuffed bear named Bear and his roommate/ antagonist, a psychotic housecat named Looshkin. Once upon a time only cat owners would know the true strangeness of their own cats, but the wonder of the internet reveals that most cats are little screwy, and as this book proves, Looshkin is the screwiest of them all.

Each one of the self-contained stories is a work of invention and comic genius, and gloriously silly. it's not Shakespeare or anything, but Jay's giggles always make me laugh so I really enjoyed the book.
