About this deal
We've formulated thisrich Mango body butterwith natural extracts to moisturise and nourish your skin. It is similar to cocoa butter and shea butter, as it will leave the skin moisturized without feeling greasy. I made this mango body butter (I also added a hyaluronic acid serum w/a natural preservative I made) and use it every morning immediately after my shower. I’ve had a lot of requests for a travel-friendly body butter, and I have finally finished the recipe.
Lathering up in this body butter will help tighten the skin as well as moisturize dry, cracking skin.I found that my body butter was quite oily and more like a moisturiser, instead of having a buttery texture. I love adding lavender essential oil for anything skincare because of the incredible benefits it has for the skin. If you made this recipe, be sure to leave a comment below and let me know what essential oil blend you went with! If you want to make whipped mango butter, cut the mango butter into small pieces and place it in a bowl.
Often times the complaint about homemade body butters is that they are too greasy and oily on the skin. Make sure to add it slowly, as if you add too much, it will take away the lightness and fluffiness of the body butter. I started with 1 teaspoon of arrowroot and after 5 minutes it was fluffy but needed more so I added another 2 teaspoons and 5 more minutes. You can make whipped butter by mixing mango butter, cocoa butter, or shea butter with a carrier oil.
