You either love or hate this stuff, but whatever your view, it’s becoming increasingly popular on cameras aimed at all levels. The zoom on the lens is also rather slow and sluggish, which makes it not particularly well suited for quickly grabbing sports or action shots. Like most high-end superzooms, the Nikon P520 sports the typical bridge camera look, with a chunky hand-grip, large lens barrel, pop-up flash and an eye-level electronic viewfinder.The on/off switch is located on the top panel and has a green LED surround to tell you when the power is on. There is still no obvious shortcut key to ISO speed, which is only accessible from the menu (as is white balance) or by assigning it to the Function button.
