Description

When you spot the droid a small cutscene plays in which you see it holding a valuable Kyber Brick before it poofs away near the entrance of a small building. They enjoy the arm left on the swing at the end of the story, as well as spotting where the bottom is and which of the sandcastles were made with the bottom. The children enjoy this story a lot, it has relatable pages such as a swing, and building sandcastles. Because of its missing serial number and due to it being so old, nobody really seems to know if it killed anyone, where it came from, or why it still operates. This little cheeky (or should I say cheekless) robot, with a coy-smile, holding his bottom( or where his bottom should be) is sure to have your child giggling even before you open the book and start reading.

The description for the "Ghost Protocol" quest uses male pronouns for the droid and states that he wandered the streets of Mos Espa aimlessly, with no one knowing why he was there. Colourful, cheerful and very funny, it's a lovely children's book for them to read alone or share together. I definitely recommend her she seems to be a big hit in my children's school aswell this is how I found out about her.In this activity linked to the No Bot The Robot with No Bottom book, we focus on some of the lovely vocabulary used in the story. If you dare enter and follow that droid, you’ll experience the one and only creepy moment in this game. Even weirder, there are stories of this droid being taken out into the desert and left to die, only for it to find its way back to Mos Espa every single time. Your Ks1 class will use the words or pictures from the mat to complete the sentences linked to the story. Nobot is a figure of Mos Espa folklore, and since the eerie droid doesn’t tell its own story, for that, we must rely on a Mos Espa resident steeped in the town’s history and legends.

As explained on Wookieepedia, the story for Nobot was written by Shaun Flaherty as part of an ongoing series of fan-created stories that were treated as real parts of the then canon pre-Legends Extended Universe. We have created seven different activity sheets for this resource so you can choose which best suits your KS1 class, depending on ability and time of the year. They went on to create many bestselling books together, working in a small room in their house in Brighton.I don’t know why my campfire exists in a room with lights…) Now, prepare to learn the scary lore behind a creepy little droid that briefly appears in the newly released Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Your class will then either create their own adjectives to describe No Bot in the picture of choose adjectives from the list provided. The droid vanishes after dashing into one of the hovel's rooms, then a key mysteriously drops from the ceiling, where it is used to open the crawlspace. My son bought this book from the school book fair, having enjoyed Sue's other books, and this is just as good.

This activity encourages your class to expand on the quality of their writing by focusing on how adjectives tell us more within writing. It also says there are many rumors about the droid, with the only thing known for certain being that something was not right with Nobot. If you’re brave enough to push further into the home in pursuit of the droid, you’ll be treated to a short cutscene of it staring at you with a tilted head as ominous music builds and the camera zooms into its blank, emotionless face. However, as with most background characters in Star Wars films, Nobot is never given a name during the movie. Some even tried to destroy the ghostly droid, but often their weapons would fail or other mishaps would occur, sparing the bot and injuring the aggressor in the process. The illustrations are colourful, full of expression and just the cover of the book will draw you in. Young readers will enjoy flicking through the pages and trying to find the bottom that is used for many different things.

If the player revisits the hovel, the door to the sealed room reopens by itself, revealing Nobot vanished. Then, at the beach, he spots some rabbits, sailing off in something… Despite his shouts, they disappear. We and our partners use data for Personalised ads and content, ad and content measurement, audience insights and product development. We have also include a resource that allows your Year 1 / Year 2 class to cut out the questions and answers and match them together. It explores different emotions as Bernard starts off happy on the swing, then later is crying when he struggles to find his bottom and finally to end with a happy ending of him finding his bottom.
