Description

The A10 use the industry-standard BES2300 chipset, which we've seen in the Soundcore Q Series, 1More Comfobuds Pro and a number of other high profile releases across 2022. Despite the clean nature to the sound signature, trebles are not too bright - there's texture and finesse to tams, shakers and cymbals, without ever sounding shrill or edgy. We decided to review and test the OneOdio A Series by comparing the various features on offer as well as important factors like comfort, design, usability, reliability and connectivity. The Cooler Master MH670 are the company’s latest wireless headphone offering, and it’s packing quite a punch, ditching the cables. The OneOdio Pro-50 also comes with highly durable dual-duty cables that can be used with your smartphones and other devices.

So as well as being a great pair of headphones for music, the OneOdio A Series provides excellent noise cancellation for everyday use and also for when it’s required when travelling on airplanes. These are by far the most consistent and great-sounding mics in Bluetooth headphones, rivaling even higher-end models. Thanks to Sony Hi-Res Audio verification, the Studio Pro 50 headphones meet the industry’s highest standards for reference audio and accurate sound reproduction. At 245g, the OneOdio A10 are on the lighter side of average for over-ear wireless headphones, which bodes well for comfort. The OneOdio A10 are not great at providing passive isolation, possibly due to the shape and materials of the earcups. As an added bonus, these hi-fi headphones also feature a detachable cable that’s compatible with most devices. In terms of technicalities, they don’t fare too well: soundstage is very limited in width and especially in depth; imaging is poor, as there is no central position (it just sounds like left and right playing together, with no proper centre); instrument separation is quite limited by the signature. Whilst I haven't tried the headphones out for any serious gaming, latency on videos is pretty much lip synchronised.

When you've got big-sounding, punchy, clear 40mm drivers capable of satisfactorily reproducing Hi-Res Audio, as you have with these A10s, you might well opt to listen wired more often. Not because I wanted to test it for this long for this particular review, but because I just kept using it as my headphones for daily use. On the right earcup, there’s the status LED, the ANC toggle switch, as well as the USB Type-C port for charging.

Also, keep in mind that the OneOdio is closed back and provides noise-isolation the Koss doesn’t, plus the thick over-ear cushions make them a bit more comfortable than the Koss headphone, an on-ear design. I couldn’t describe the performance of the OneOdio A10 as audiophile, but I’d be more than happy to live with them on a daily basis. The top headrest of the headphones are also adjustable so that you can adjust it to the size of your head where it sits comfortably.
