the punch-in fx is one of the unique features that makes the OP–Z stand out from a traditional sequencer. I've seen isolators that can fix this problem so should be OK (and if you don't have it plugged in to charge it is no problem). The OP‑Z takes a much more familiar pattern-based approach, with a sequencing workflow that has more in common with the Pocket Operators than the OP-1. It would be nice to have more options here, such as the ability to bounce drum and melodic parts separately, or whether or not master effects are applied. You can ‘bounce’ a pattern to save it as audio to the OP-Z’s memory, but these are limited to a maximum of a length of 10 seconds and a maximum of five bounces.
