I know that the regular PlaqueOff product is identical, except that it does not contain brewer’s yeast for flavoring.

My vet does say that the FIV is contagious, which I think those of us with an FIV cat know this much but I have read so many places that the possibility of it spreading to other household cats is very low.Since kelp, including our unique ingredient, have a naturally high iodine content, we do not recommend that dogs with thyroid problems use this product. I sobbed on the drive home and continued to cry for 3 days as I was lying under the bed with her and apologizing to her for her suffering. I’ve seen lots of reviews and they are mostly good, but I’ve seen a few comments that people’s pets have developed thyroid problems because of the high iodine content.
