This ink contains pigment particles, which can cause clogging if allowed to dry out inside of a pen.

When using this ink, we recommend giving your pen a good cleaning every 4 to 6 weeks, or if you don't plan on using the pen for a week or longer. It is a good idea to clean your pen every week to prevent the ink drying and clogging the nib and feed. Water-resistant pens and inks may smear or discolor when exposed to water but will remain legible under most circumstances.

For best results, use it with an absorbent paper and allow it to dry for 24 hours before exposing the ink to water.
