The absolute worst part about Henry James is that he doesn’t look at all like you’d expect your best friend’s dad to look. Though both try to stay casual, their affair quickly morphs into the most fulfilling romantic and sexual connection either has ever felt. I think it was a huge conflict that they had to overcome together and I loved reading about the complexity of it all!
