Before we go any further it is worth mentioning that the sizes run a little larger than usual with the Fasten8 range so you might want to consider dropping down half a size for maximum comfort.As someone who is often too lazy to untie laces before putting on shoes, this was a most welcome addition for me. Style, comfort and performance are the three main essential features when it comes to a successful golf shoe and Puma has excelled in all three areas making this a top shoe for the new season. What I sensed was the PWRStrap system that connects the laces to the midsole via nylon webbing straps. That means these shoes are better used as a summer golf shoe but still performed very well in slightly soft autumnal conditions with their grippy outsole providing solid traction on the turf.

Although I could still feel that I’d been walking up and down hills for just short of four hours, my feet were in pretty decent shape overall. Like most of our golf shoes, the GS-Fast are also constructed with a fully waterproof upper to keep your feet dry and comfortable even in adverse conditions.
