Abby’s life in New York had been wonderful, a thriving career and a fiance, that is until it wasn’t. If you have a precious book that is simply falling apart because the spine or cover is in poor condition, don't toss it out! I finally realized after reading the first couple of pages that the storyline was going to revolve around the father of the main characters of Crossover! Place your book on a flat surface, and with a sharp knife, cut right through the endsheet, mull and the covering material as depicted in figure 180.So, our story begins with Abby heading home and bumping into a very hot friendly stranger perfect for are bound. I just came off a string of back to back to back deadlines (with one left to go) at work and I was looking for some fun and romance in Ireland. And after years of hardly speaking to each other, these two sisters end up living under the same roof and only time will break down whatever barriers keep them apart. Adults may get more of a kick out of the references to 1980s pop culture (Members Only jackets, Now and Later candy) than the target audience, but the multilayered coming-of-age story should resonate with young readers.

In this beautiful story, our main character is Abby Reynolds, who was born and raised in Clonard, a tiny village in Ireland. I was just leaving in a lurch when Abby said she has been falling in love with Luke since the day he picked her up. Walking to birdsongs is all well and good until they’re outside your window at five am and won’t shut up. And some situations described here are so real and usually not mentioned in books, that you really have to appreciate it as it definitely showed some originality. And finally, the historical inaccuracies pointed out by a friend of mine in his Goodreads review, stood out like a sore thumb, especially to someone who was a fan of Tupac, Allen Iverson, and the Harlem Globetrotters.While this companion novel works as a standalone, those who have read the first book will have a richer experience. Often costing less than a full rebinding, rebacking preserves the majority of the original book material. It's even more exhausting when you realize, at the 250 mark, that you still have about 175 pages to go.
