This is the 30th book, but considering Alex has survived "Kill Alex Cross" before, chances are he survives this one. Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover was just published, and I know there’s been a lot of excitement among her fans around the release of her newest novel. And in the off chance that the people we lose are still somehow able to hear us, maybe we should never stop talking to them. I don't think the American system is that broken that a mother could not try to get her child back, even if she doesn't have any money. Kenna believes the best way to meet her daughter is to go up to the Landrys’ front door and simply tell them how sorry she is.

Their connection is so intense that they spend her last day in LA together, and her creative life inspires Ben's novel. Scotty - Scotty and Kenna's love was so pure, told through the hundreds of letters that Kenna had written to him whilst in prison. Unfortunately, the Landrys find out about Ledger and Kenna and ask him to choose between them and her. Two years later, Ledger and Kenna live together nearby, and they remain very involved in Diem’s life. In the space of 200 pages he was so up and down I got whiplash but how are we expected to believe in their love when they maybe spent a few days in total together?

In the time Kenna was looking for help she didn't know Scotty was still alive until the next morning when the police showed up at her apartment and arrested her. The short version of this review is that this book is a good version of exactly the type of book it’s aiming to be. This is exactly the sort of story that balances on an edge, tugging your heartstrings one way, then another.
