saw the introduction of several cinematography/videography lenses, and this culminated by 2015 into the release of the highly acclaimed XEEN Professional Video-Cine Lens Brand. By comparison, I have no such AF/power problem with my two other go-to lenses for small rock concerts, the Sony 55mm 1.

with little hesitation for most applications and by f/4 you can expect very good results even in the corners. The aperture iris has nine rounded blades which enable the aperture to stay fairly round as the lens is stopped down. stops in the corners, but is nice and linear in nature and will look fine without correction for most images save where corners should be very light (with snow, for example). There’s a long rotational travel in the focus rings, and a pleasant fluid feel to the movement, enabling smooth and precise focusing. Typical of Samyang lenses, build quality is good and this one features weather-seals in its robust construction.It's the latest in a growing range of Samyang lenses to feature auto-focusing, incorporating a stepping motor for smooth and accurate autofocusing, and there's a UMC Super multi-layer coating to reduce flare and ghosting. This isn't the case with all Samyang lenses though; its Nikon F-mount primes, for instance, come with electronics that enable the full range of PASM shooting modes.

Unsurprisingly, sharpness degrades noticeably towards the edges of the frame, but in real-world shooting the shallow depth of field at f/1.

No f/22 aperture lock; you must remember to keep it set to f/22 at all times when used on digital SLRs and most AF SLRs.
