There is plenty of space inside the cups themselves to fit plenty of ears, mine included, and I found myself actually sleeping with these quite often. Mid-bass doesn't bleed at all into it, which it does in the HD 650, so naturally the mids sound less congested than the HD 650.Both headphones are incredibly comfy, but I feel more secure with a 9600 on my head if that makes sense.
