The Ouroboros Powers Monado Rage and Monado Armor have been converted into Kevesi Arts with time-based cooldowns, to be consistent with other Heroes who only have Arts of one cooldown type. Integrity is one of Shulk's initial three Skill Branches, and the first skill is unlocked at the start of the game.

The party climb Mechonis, meeting Egil's sister, Vanea, who tells them that Egil has not always been cruel and that the Monado is not merely a weapon, but rather a projection of the light of living beings. Dunban tries to kill Mumkhar but is stopped by Shulk, whose previous goal of destroying all Mechon has been offset by the knowledge that they are piloted by Homs.
