The exhibit features a selection of iconic costumes worn by the pop star including 10 outfits — one for each of her 10 albums — running from the star’s 2006 self-titled LP, through to her most recent album, Midnights.

Among the items on display from Swift’s wardrobe are the Vivetta faux fur jacket and rhinestone-accented Norma Kamali bikini she wore in the 2019 music video for “You Need to Calm Down;” the Marina Toybina-designed circus ringmaster ensemble of a top hat, cane, rhinestone and sequin-embellished jacket, shorts and knee-high, laced LaDuca boots Swift wore to perform “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” at the 2012 MTV Europe Music Awards; and the Mandalay multicolored fringe dress and Everybody by B.With Speak Now (Taylor's Version) you are given the same incredible album with clear instrumentals, crisp vocals, and professional production. Her previous rerecordings (Fearless, Red) were able to elevate what she had created, her mature voice providing both albums with gravitas. Example: The Story of Us has a few moments when Swift speaks rather than sings, and I've grown to love the sass of the original version, and I just don't feel like the sass is present in this version to the same extent. There are a several songs Swifties had hoped to see on this album which were written around this time, but it is important to remember that Speak Now is a self-written album, meaning certain songs are not possible to exist here. Innocent was never a favorite song of mine, but this version has backing vocals added and slight changes to the instrumentals, making it a standout for me.

Taylor Swift’s official Taylor Nation Twitter page revealed on Thursday (May 18) that the vinyl for the upcoming re-recording of Swift’s 2010 album will be offered in a special lilac marble version. The more bluegrassy tracks like Mean have very very clear mandolin and banjo with fantastic imaging. The change to the lyrics in Better Than Revenge was needed, and I'm glad Swift was not only aware of the issue but also willing to make the change and keep the song present. The Vault songs for Speak Now do sound close to the "sound" of Speak Now, something that the Vault songs from Fearless and Red did not; they sounded close to what Swift created since 1989 or Reputation, which is not a bad thing.New items now on display include the sequin-covered cape, Michael Schmidt Studios bustier and briefs and Stuart Weitzman boots worn by Swift in the 2022 video for “Bejeweled;”; the Taylor GSLJ “Living Jewels” acoustic guitar Swift used to perform “Last Kiss” during her “Speak Now World Tour,” and the New York University cap and gown Swift wore when she received an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree and delivered the commencement address at the school’s 2022 graduation ceremony. Many have incredible soundstage: Back to December in particular sounds way better than streaming, dynamic and full. I'm happy that Swift now owns it, and I can't wait to have all her music collected so I never have to listen to the Stolen Versions.
