As you would expect from Apple, this watch looks stylish (it has 30 different watch faces to pick from) and is intuitive to use too. General accuracy for distance and speed isn't terrible, but the VeryFitPro app – see below –is not the greatest when it comes to analysing your runs. You can swipe to see your total steps and current heart rate on the watch face, but for greater analysis, the app delves deeper into all these stats. Other apps reveal when you’re in a setting with excessive decibels that could affect your hearing, while another tracks your menstrual cycle and tells you when you’re most fertile. As mentioned earlier, having at least an IP67 grade waterproof tracker will ensure your tracker can be used in the pool to help track your performance.

Take the heart rate for instance; by holding your finger on the digital crown for a few seconds, you can get an ECG-like trace of your heart (the sort you would have in a cardiac unit) on the watch face. The sleep tracking feature on the Letscom Smart Watch ID205L wasn't too bad either, although the data collected from it does not appear in the VeryFitPro app, so you can't easily see how it changes and develops over time. This smartwatch offers continuous 24/7 monitoring to provide wearers with accurate data on how they can improve their health and wellbeing. Most come out of the box with some charge, but its best to give them a blast for an hour or two as these devices can devour battery life rapidly. It's cool that this watch has multiple smart modes, but it's not much use if the sensor doesn't work in some of them. You’ll be able to connect the GPS with your mobile device, and view stats like your pace, distance, and record a map of your workout route. It's the best looking of the tested fitness trackers, although it does feel cheap on your wrist –very plasticky – and is far from being the most competent fitness band I've ever tried. It also tracks your sleep duration and consistently analyses sleep data to help you achieve a healthier lifestyle.
