The Teva Universal, which features quick-drying polyester webbing, a cushioned footbed, rubber outsole, and a series of Velcro straps, is still the brand's most popular style today. The straps are extremely secure (more so than what I remember the basic pair to feel like), and the plastic pieces that connect the straps are all padded against the skin to prevent irritation.

The Terra Fi provides adequate traction throughout various surfaces and even handles transitions from wet to dry with ease. If it can be used in the outdoors - or provides useful information on something that is used in the outdoors - it belongs here. I'll admit, I generally like the look of Chacos better, but I find Tevas to be slightly more comfortable for my arches. There are plenty more designs to choose from, including platform sandals, special pattern collections (like the commemorative Grand Canyon one), and hiking sneakers.It would have scored higher if it weren't for the bulky strap mounts that caused some discomfort our first few times wearing them. If you love Teva but hope to save some money, the Teva Katavi 2 is somewhat cheaper and more comfortable with the "dad style" straps that provide comfort and stability.
