On October 9, Netflix also dropped a teaser that showed different iterations of the Queen, as played by Claire Foy, Olivia Colman, and Imelda Staunton walking through Buckingham Palace. It opens with a shot of Windsor Castle in flames (a fire ravaged the royal residence during the Queen’s annus horribilis in 1992) and then shows Imelda Staunton as the monarch, examining its ashen remains.

And yet, all that Debicki’s friends wanted to know was if she would get to wear the “ revenge dress”.

Published to coincide with the 70th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth ll’s ascendancy to the throne, the photographs and other illustrations in this coffee table-sized volume are not to be missed by anyone who is fascinated by all things royal.
