About this deal

Her boyfriend (they have a young daughter together) and her closest friend fear she’s having psychotic episodes.

In this tense, gripping novel, Nicole Trope has written a domestic psychological thriller that feels alarmingly authentic and keeps a compelling momentum from the opening scene to the deadly conclusion. It was difficult to enjoy the story because what’s happening at the Wests’s is horrible to read and because Trope manipulates the story in such a way that we are lead to think in a certain way, that make the whole thing even worse. And one by one the families who tried so hard to welcome the Wests begin to realise: Hogarth Street will never be the same again. She hasn’t seen the children go to school today, nor John go to work, and the blinds are still drawn. This is not to say that both authors have identical writing styles, but the general vibe of these stories is similar. I love domestic thrillers, but I don’t like domestic violence in the plot which probably seems like a contradiction, but it’s not.

Katherine and Josh seem so in love and their gorgeous five-year-old twins race screeching around their beautiful emerald-green lawn. With a versatile skill set, he has contributed to several blog publications, covering an array of topics ranging from technology and entertainment to home and lifestyle. The story goes back and forth explaining Alice’s childhood and how she plans on protecting her family. He also struggled to find a job until his wife (Debbie) talked her brother (Mack) into giving him the courier job although Mack still doesn’t trust him fully.I really wanted The Family Across the Street to play out with the mystery the blurb hinted at, but the story went in a different direction. Dealing with her anxiety and compulsion to investigate, Gladys will explore every possibility to find out more.

About the only thing I got wrong was the identity of the antagonist, and that reveal didn’t really matter all that much because by then, I’d stopped caring. The realization that such dark and hidden secrets can exist behind closed doors shakes the neighborhood to its core. But what should be a happy and joyous moment is shattered when someone breaks into their new home leaving Rachel with memories of a childhood she wishes to forget.Written by bestselling author Michelle Adams, this novel delves into the dark secrets and twisted dynamics of a seemingly ordinary suburban neighborhood. He has an interesting past he is trying to overcome and recover, so his feelings are played out from what people think about him.
