Visitors can also meet father and son duo, Itzatna Arts, on selected dates to bring to life the magic of animals and traditional Mexican culture, through immersive storytelling and a variety of traditional central and southern American games. There are interactive exhibits where kids can press a button and part of the story is told as its magical creatures emerge.

Visitors can take advantage of Twycross Zoo’s new annual ticket, which allows guests to enjoy a whole year, once they pay for one visit. Visitors can walk through a huge Gibbon forest, as well as feed the lorikeets in a large walk-through enclosure. It is located on the A444, which can be accessed via the A5 and the M42 junction 11 which is around 90 minutes drive from South Manchester. One wild and windy night the Gruffalo’s Child ignores her father’s warnings about the Big Bad Mouse and tiptoes out into the deep dark wood. Outside there's a large play park close the Gibbon Forest with a range of play equipment including adventure trail, slides and climbing frames.There's a special section dedicated to huge Jamaican boa snakes as well as an aviary with great grey owls.
