I didn't like how things just ended suddenly for the side storylines and we were just kind of left in the middle. He’d put on a heap of muscle since I’d last seen him, and it seemed like he’d gotten even hotter—if that was possible. I still don't understand why authors are writing books where characters are in love with people that they've never really had a conversation with. Finally a character that is true to how these guys are, why would they ever change if what they do works? The bad boy is a legit bad boy that doesn’t have a heart of gold and is conceited and self-centered!I would have loved to read a bit more about the famous Owen and maybe see a bigger meaning behind all his *assholeness*. He nodded, and my heart seemed to start beating again as I heard the lock on the back door being released. The 3 stars might be because I just switched from reading adult fiction to young adult fiction and it was a little jarring switching POVs. The baggy band T-shirts, old jeans, and ratty sneakers were hardly the stuff of a teen girl’s daydreams. I can't wait to read their stories and be still connected with this unique girl clique that is in for some major love stories along their high school times. I loved Ethan’s promposal and the BRG (Big Romantic Gesture) with the inclusion of Taylor Swift songs! Buuut on a day when life is not going her way, she sees Owen (the boy of her dreams, or so she thinks) is home from his fancy school. My brain seemed to shut down, and my mind went blank, because Owen was the last person I expected to see getting out of the car next door.It’s not like there were any other cars around, and you just can’t sing Taylor Swift and drive at the same time. It always makes me smile when I see familiar characters and get a little reassurance that their relationships are still going great. If she wants to go to prom with him, she's going to have to put her heart on the line and ask him herself. But, it had happened right in front of the town sheriff, who was currently giving me a ride home while a tow truck took my baby away.

The story here is about Hayley, Madi's friend from the second book, she has a crush on her neighbor, but what she didn't know is that his twin brother has the hugest crush on her . The last thing I needed was some nosy neighbor witnessing my walk of shame, but as my eyes landed on the broad shoulders of Owen Beck, all thought of my shameful trip home fled from me. The fact I was watching him like some infatuated schoolgirl wouldn’t have been a good look for me either.
