This is one of those books that can be read to the middle one way, then turned upside down and read to the middle again the other way. Granting her wish, the little star takes her on a dazzling and daring trip among swirling planets and beaming stars for one magical night. However it adds onto it with the girl going into space with the star all while the lines are still consistently rhyming. This version of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" shows a representation of Christmas and the children's preparation for Santa Clause. This twinkle, twinkle, little star lyrics and craft activity is great for children of any age – especially preschoolers!Unfortunately it also has a center "POP-UP"--a foldout that will get wrecked probably by the first little user. There are few words on each page which will make it easy for young readers however, given the topic of Christmas, it would probably have limited use for that specific time of the year. And I always see some additional confidence when learning, which is sometimes lacking with novel concepts.
