So it really came as a shock when I was halfway through book four and I realized that I was reading nothing but descriptions of tapestries and different styles of dresses. Royal blue boards, corners and spine ends lightly bumped, light soil and toning to top edge of pages. The allure continues with Golden Leaf Printing that adds a touch of elegance, while Hand Embossing on the rounded spine lends an artistic flair. But perhaps it shouldn't - the books all open and close with the wheel of time, and the notion that there is no beginning or end.I haven't decided if I want to spend additional time reading the prequels; certainly not any time soon.
