We’d always recommend using another method for your sound if possible, particularly if you’re gaming or having a movie night, but as a backup speaker this is absolutely fine. With Elfin, you can project what you love in super-bright detail and make any moment in your life bigger! At night, in a very dark room with no lights on, I was able to use the Elfin to project an image roughly 10 feet in size on a wall with sufficient brightness and contrast to be comparable to what I’d expect from a TV. The brighter XGIMI Horizon, which features a larger DLP chip, deals with darker content better and is a touch sharper. It’s a solid, compact projector for home use, but its portability is less useful without battery power, and other home theater projectors easily win out in picture quality.On the rear, once again much like mobile phone companies, you will find the serial number and required certification logos. One of the things I like most about the Elfin, however, is that while it does keep things travel-friendly, it’s also very stable.

The XGIMI Elfin offers one HDMI port for external connections, making audio transferring much easier for daily use. Wi-Fi, which allows its smart function and Chromecast mirroring to work, the Xgimi Elfin also comes with Bluetooth 5.You can project right onto a white or similarly pale wall too– no need for a dedicated projector screen (although your picture will appear brighter and more contrast-rich if you do use one).
