Bought the more expensive yellow "delicate surface" tape to mask an emulsioned wall prior to painting rails, frames, skirting. Soon after came the yellow “delicate surface” variety, followed a few years later by the blue Pro Painters Grade tape. When it comes to masking tape a lot of the more premium tapes will be advertised as “low tack” but what exactly does this mean?

My problem I’m having a real difficult time painting at the top of the wall where it meets the ceiling.It works as well as other blue masking tapes such as 3M but has the paint blocking abilities as the green and yellow tape.

I have done a couple of mist coasts on new plaster, then watered down the normal paints then go into full paint. Originally Frog tape came in a bright green roll and was made to stop paint from bleeding through the edges. I have to agree with most of the other reviewers, I bought this as normal masking tape usually tears.
