P.S. you still need humans available on the phone (or at least chat) to get interaction and keep the actions needed to satisfy customers moving. Thank you. Ideal for those looking for a nutritionally balanced start to the day, each bowl of Eleat contains 12.5g of protein, 10.5g of fibre and just 1g of sugar. All four flavours are free from gluten and suitable for vegans, too. “Eleat offers a complete source of protein,” adds Sarah. “It uses a unique blend of plant protein from soy and sunflower and contains all nine essential amino acids that can’t be made by the body. The cereal is sweetened with stevia, a natural sweetener, and contains rosemary extract, which is an antioxidant and keeps the product fresher for longer. However, steer clear of the strawberry flavour – it contains maltodextrin, which can spike blood sugar and offers no nutritional value.” Extremely disappointed by this company's recent service. I have been a long and loyal customer. As a vegan these bars are ideal for me to get a protein hit. The fact that this is not touted as a keto-friendly cereal is also appealing to me because I tend to enjoy products more when they have carbs to them. Granted, there is very little sugar and it is overall low in carbs, but it’s a bit more appealing to me than a keto cereal.

SOYA Protein Isolate, Tapioca Starch, Inulin (Chicory Root Fibre), Coconut Oil, Cocoa Powder, Natural Flavourings, Salt, Sweetener: Sucralose. ( Soya ) The smell of this cereal reminds me of a really strong evergreen air freshener, and the taste reminds me very much of Big Red gum because the cinnamon flavor is so strong.I had heard amazing things about their protein bars, but as a lover of cereal, I needed to give their protein cereal a try first. The NPD – which would not only target breakfastbut also midday and evening occasions – replicated “the sugary and non-nutritious cereal brands in the market, without the actual junk”, said Misfits. Surreal’s high-protein versions are a good alternative to other traditional wheat-based hoops. “Traditional cereals are typically low in protein and high in refined carbs, so by making the swap, you’ll be setting your blood sugar up for the day,” says nutritionist Clarissa Lenherr. “The protein here comes from soya and pea protein – good-quality sources – and natural sweeteners such as stevia and erythritol are nutritionally sound, too.” Surreal’s cereals also contain inulin, which is naturally sweet and is a good source of fibre for your gut. “Just keep an eye on portion size,” says Clarissa. “Sugar alcohols such as erythritol can cause bloating and gas for those with IBS.” Sarah Henderson, nutritional therapist, also points out that the frosted version contains sucralose. “Sucralose is an artificial sweetener that’s best avoided,” she adds. Overall pretty bland protein bars. I find the product images and claims of oozing caramel layers a bit misleading, in reality the bars are pretty dry and you do not get that experience of oozing caramel. You also get the odd bar which has a chalky white texture to the chocolate. It's a shame because the branding is brilliant but the bar itself needs a serious rethink. If you love the combination of chocolate and cinnamon, you’re going to be horribly disappointed by this cereal.

Misfits cereal is very crunchy, has decent flavor overall, and has an impressive amount of protein per serving. Misfits co-founder Henry Sether said the NPD and rebrand would “widen our brand appeal and allow us to branch out into more categories and territories, cementing ourselves as a leading innovator in the plant-based functional food space across the globe”. For someone like me - diabetic so naturally low refined carb, higher protein and higher fat is the way to goThe chocolate Misfits cereal is one of the best-smelling foods my nose has ever had the privilege of sniffing. The chocolate Misfits cereal definitely improves in milk, but not substantially. That bitter aftertaste is almost completely eliminated when eaten with milk, which is awesome, but the overall chocolate flavor is still very much subpar.

Choc cinnamon does not smell or taste at all like chocolate. If you were to do a blind taste test, you’d never know that this was a chocolate flavor. I appreciate as a company you have your eyes fixed on America right now, but don't forget your loyal customers who got you there. As other people have commented, these are the worst protein bars I’ve ever tasted. Last year a friend gave me a box because she hated them, I tried one and they immediately went in the bin. Recently tried one of their new wafer bars to see if they had improved but unfortunately still have that horrible chemical taste and chalky texture. There’s much better brands out there. These bars are unbelievable for meeting the above criteria, I can’t believe how good they taste and a whole bar has 6.8g carbs of which 0.9g is sugar (hazelnut ones) Being 100% vegan, low sugar, and high protein, I have to admit that my expectations for the cereal going into this review were extremely low. It had been created to target “mainly millennials and gen Z” shoppers who loved cereal but were “concerned about their health and what they consume”, the brand added. Misfits launched its Protein Cereal in two flavors, Chocolate and Chocolate Cinnamon, which we snapped up following their launch to see how they measure up against the many other high-protein cereals on the market. There is a growing mountain of functional products in the cereal format, and many of them are incredibly on point and enjoyable, so Misfits Protein Cereal has its work cut out for it. Review An overwhelming number of food products that claim to be healthy are made with artificial sweeteners – this means brands can make claims about a cereal being low-sugar whilst still tasting sweet. However, regular consumption of artificial sweeteners has been linked to changes in the gut microbiome and they are something I advise my clients to actively avoid. At the same time, look out for real sugar on an ingredients label, which can be disguised as cane juice, dextrose, isoglucose, jaggery, maltose and barley malt.” – Clarissa Watch Out For Wheat
